The Athy Half Marathon returns to Co Kildare on 9 August 2026 along with a 10km and 5km distance.
Starting from Emily Square, the Half Marathon course is a flat and fast route that crosses Athy's beautiful canal bridges and includes a scenic countryside loop with views of the Barrow Valley before returning through the charming town centre to the finish.
The 10km is a single-loop course, great for those seeking a challenging but achievable distance.
The 5km is a family-friendly tour of Athy's historic town centre (walkers are welcome).
