Join us for a special remembrance race in the Wicklow Mountains, combining festive fun with a meaningful tribute to IMRA members who have sadly passed away. Expect an enjoyable run on easy terrain, with fancy dress encouraged and a warm community atmosphere.

🎒 Mandatory Kit:

Level A – Basic Kit:

Showerproof, windproof jacket

All runners must bring the above item to the race. The final kit requirement will be confirmed on the day, depending on conditions, and advised clearly at registration.
Failure to have the required kit may result in refusal of entry or disqualification. Random checks may be carried out.

📍 Route Description:
As in 2024, the race will start from Pier Gates, as Djouce Woods remains unsuitable due to fallen trees. The route will differ from 2024, with an update shared before race day.

09:15 – 09:45 at race location.

In the car park immediately after the race – a great way to burn off the Christmas leftovers! 🎄

💙 About the Race:
Combining traditions from the Bray Head Christmas Flash and the Djouce Djoggers’ Djouce Djog, this race celebrates the lives of hillrunners no longer with us. Fancy dress is encouraged to keep the spirit fun and uplifting. If you’d like a loved one remembered, organisers welcome contact ahead of the event.
