How to Watch Irish Athletes on Day 3 of the World Indoors

Day Three of the World Indoor Championships brings the competition to a close on Sunday, with Irish attention centred on two athletes capable of making a real impact on the final day in Toruń.

Kate O’Connor heads into the pentathlon as one of Ireland’s strongest medal hopes. She has been building serious momentum over the past year, putting together consistent performances across all five disciplines, and looks well placed to challenge if she can string together a clean series from start to finish. After taking bronze at last year’s European Indoors and following that with silver at both the World Indoors and World Championships outdoors, the question now is simple: can she finally go one better?

Sarah Lavin returns to championship action in the 60m hurdles, an event where she has firmly established herself at international level. With years of experience navigating heats and finals on the big stage, her focus will be on progressing smoothly through the rounds and putting herself in contention when it matters most later in the evening.
