2026 Dublin Marathon Races Series Now Open for Entries

If the Dublin Marathon is circled on your calendar this year, this is your cue.

Entries for the Dublin Marathon Race Series opened this morning, Monday February 23rd, and if history tells us anything, places will not hang around.

This series has become part of the ritual for thousands of runners building towards October.

What Is The Dublin Marathon Race Series?

The series is made up of three summer and early autumn races that align neatly with marathon training:

-  Fingal 10K on Sunday July 12th at 9.30am in Swords

-  Frank Duffy 10 Mile on Saturday August 15th at 9am in the Phoenix Park

-  Dublin Half Marathon on Sunday September 20th at 9am in the Phoenix Park

Each race can be entered individually, or runners can choose a bundle option covering all three events.

2026 Entry Prices

This year’s confirmed prices are as follows:

-  Fingal 10K – €31.03 including booking fee

-  Frank Duffy 10 Mile – €37.45 including €2.45 booking fee

-  Dublin Half Marathon – €47.15 including €3.15 booking fee

The race bundle offers a slight reduction on all three races as part of a package

As ever, the bundle option offers the convenience of locking in all three races in one go.

Familiar Roads, Familiar Feel

Two of the three races take place largely inside Phoenix Park, which is a big part of their draw.

Both the Frank Duffy 10 Mile and the Dublin Half Marathon cover roads that feature heavily in the marathon itself. By October, those climbs and stretches of tarmac feel known rather than intimidating.

The Fingal 10K, based in north Dublin near the airport, offers a flatter and often faster course. It stands comfortably as a target in its own right.

Demand Will Be High

The key thing to remember is this: these races are popular, they do not operate a ballot, and entries are allocated on a straight first come, first serve basis.

That combination means demand is intense every year

If you are planning accommodation, annual leave, or shaping your marathon block around these fixtures, it makes sense to move early. Waiting it out rarely works in your favour

For many runners, the marathon season effectively starts today

And if the Dublin Marathon is your goal this October, this is where it begins.
